Arrangements for Nominations and Elections for Officers’ Posts

Posts to be elected:              Chair, Secretary and Treasurer – each to serve for one year from Lent 2010 to Lent 2011.

                                                                       Bruce Clifford – Trinity, Bristol

                                                        Secretary – None

                                                        Treasurer – None

by email – to cjs99@cam.ac.uk

by Midnight on Sunday 31st January 2010

Hustings in electronic, written form – maximum of 500 words, explaining who the candidate is and credentials & vision for the job - may also be sent to Catherine by any candidates nominated; to be circulated along with the EBallot. Any hustings not received by Midnight on 31st January will not be able to be circulated.

 

EBallot – to be circulated to AOCM reps by email, through survey monkey, from CS on Monday 1st February 2010, along with all hustings received.

 

Polling will be open from Monday 1st February to Monday 8th February 2010 – after this date the EBallot will time-out.

 

Counting is done automatically by the EBallot – and results will be notified by email by Thursday 11th February.

 

 NB this is the first time that AOCM elections have been undertaken by EBallot, enabling reps to vote who could not attend the meeting – and enabling a wider canvass of potential candidates. Candidates may be those already serving as officers – but need not be; make this known in your institutions as non-reps are also welcome to stand.
