The representational role is primarily a collective rather than an individual responsibility. Members’ first port of call should always be their own institution or Diocese and AOCM represents individuals as a matter of last resort. Representation to Min Div can be improved with more solid information about general trends and concerns and better targeting of issues to the appropriate committee or organisation eg some things are Diocesan responsibilities. Another aspect of AOCM’s role is sharing of best practice as between institutions and Dioceses
